Celtic band Govannen celebrate 30 years together this year! Their blend of jigs, reels, and traditional and contemporary songs, and celidhs have delighted fans across the UK. They have released 9 albums. Their Celtic Christmas album was used in the animated movie “How To Train Your Dragon”. With their twin fiddles, strong vocals and band sound, a fun evening is guaranteed from this talented and entertaining band.
Chris Conway, Dan Britton & Roger Wilson are all singer-songwriters in their own right. Chris has played with Peter Tork (The Monkees), members of Fairport Convention & Jethro Tull. Dan has worked with members of 10CC, Lindisfarne & The Waterboys, among others. The Conway & Britton duo have opened for Jefferson Starship, Bob Geldoff, & Roy Wood. Roger has worked with Martin Carthy, Kate Rusby, and was in John Tams' War Horse at the National Theatre.
